All participants will receive a llama (If I haven't already given you one!) Plus I will despense some remaining points equally among non-winning participants. (Sorry that I can't be more specific! I'd just hate to be unable to deliver what I promise if I get a bunch of entries. So I'll keep it depending upon the number of participants, and ballpark it at maybe 5 points per person? 10?)

 _{I am sorry, but I will NOT extend this. Keep that in mind now and make sure you get your entry done in time! I'm terribly sorry if that rushes you. I hope a month is good for people. I'd love to see your art! So. Why won't I extend it? It's a personal thing- whenever I see a contest coming to a close with few entries, I get excited. I'm not the best artist so I feel like I have a chance to get a reward for my work. Then they go and extend it so they can get better artwork or more entries. (I understand they want a lot of good art, like I do right now, but it did make me feel bad to see my chances drop significantly when they changed their promise) I have also entered contests where they simply didn't give out any prizes and took my artwork I'd worked on just because they didn't get many entries. I hate when that happens, especially if they hadn't specified that there's a minimum! Terribly sorry if that date is too soon. Also terribly sorry if that means the only entry and thus winner is some crayon stickman with no legs. Them's the rules. So- there's my rant. No extensions and no minimum submissions required for just that purpose.}

What in the World is the Contest About?

I'd like to see the characters from the video game Animamundi: Dark Alchemist done in creative ways. I'm talking Steampunk, cyberpunk, trapped in Silent Hill, space-themed, as animals, in sexy yaoi pairings, genderbent, wearing crazy hats... I'd just like to see the guys plus your imagination to make for a cool/fun design. (And nope, knowledge of the game is not required. Consider them like my OC's.) Whether that means you draw in a totally out there style or if you do some kind of silly Black Butler crossover, or hanging out with your OC's, I don't mind! I'd just love to be surprised with what you guys come up with. All styles are welcome. Leave the plain behind. Let your creative juices flow and forget to mop up afterwards!

Also, remember that you can draw any one of these that you like, or a number of them, or even all of them if it fits your design and the deadline. (You can also do outside research into the game if you want.) Choosing just one is perfectly fine!
The bio is there only if you need it for your submission if you want to get personality in there! Otherwise, just look at the pictures!

I include main characters but mostly my favorites. If you know the game and/or want to do other characters in it, feel free to research and do them! Also, you can draw just one character or you can draw them all! Whichever characters strike your fancy and/or fit your creative design, go for it! Just remember the deadline!

So what medium?

Just about any. Pictures are fine. Comics, traditional, digital, etc. If you want to go crazy and do a sculpture, animation, cosplay, photomanipulation, flash game, etc, knock yourself out! I'd love to see it!

Rules/Info:

Number of entries per person: Unlimited! You can submit however many you want to do. I'd love to see them. However, I will limit that only one of your submissions can win. So that way no one can win more than 1 prize.

How Judging is Conducted: What I'm looking for is a submission that impresses and amuses me. What that means will most likely be a combination of unique approach, creative design, artistic skill, and character likeness in looks and/or personality. I know "what makes me happiest" is kind of a vague criteria, but it's my contest.

Content Limitations: Um... You can do a hell of a lot if you really feel like it. Want to do gore? Sure thing! Feeling like doing sexual themes/pairings? Why not! The game itself is full of sexy pairings (Both heterosexual and homosexual) I love along with some murder, mutilation, beheading, human sacrifices, heck, even non-consensual sex is within its canon. Those are extreme, but you could do whatever if you really feel like it. You should probably keep it within DA standards just so it doesn't get removed. (If you want to submit more extreme stuff externally and link it, that's fine, too.) I don't mind particularly.

Please make a new entry for this contest; so only deviations submitted after this journal are accepted. (Honestly, not sure how you'd manage to have a pic fitting this contest in your gallery already anyway.)
